1. XO Pack Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Cochin Special Economic Zone, Kakkanad, Kochi. Published focus: XO Pack says it manufactures corrugated cartons and fully automatic five-ply board and boxes. Its site reports capacity above 50 metric tonnes per day of five-ply board; treat that as a plant description, not an available-slot or delivery guarantee. Source: XO Pack.
Buyer fit: A useful enquiry for repeat five-ply transit cartons. Ask for the specific liner/fluting papers, box style, dimensions, board performance targets, print method and a production sample. If your product needs a different board construction, confirm the plant’s actual converting options before shortlisting.
2. CCL Cartons
Location: Muppathadam, Aluva. CCL lists corrugated cartons, printed master cartons, duplex cartons and an E-flute project. Its site discusses paper parameters such as burst factor, ring crush, ply bond and medium crush, and states it has a lab and quality-control department. Source: CCL Cartons.
Buyer fit: Compare it for printed master cartons or a finer-flute presentation requirement. Ask which test results will be provided for your board and which tolerance is used for the approved sample; a company’s general quality statement is not a performance result for a particular carton.
3. Karniz Packs
Location: Pallikkara, Ernakulam. Karniz presents a broad printing and packaging offer, including corrugated packaging, paper food packaging and duplex boxes for products such as cosmetics and electronics. Its site reports 22+ years of experience; this is a company-provided figure. Source: Karniz Packs.
Buyer fit: Consider Karniz where shelf appearance and printed packaging matter alongside protection. Request a dieline, colour proof and assembled sample; confirm whether the exact corrugated construction, print and finishing steps are handled at the quoted site.
4. KG Packers
Location: Thamarachal, Kizhakkambalam, Ernakulam. KG Packers maintains an official website describing custom packaging, while an independent business listing identifies its Ernakulam address. Public product details were limited at verification, so we have not assigned a capacity, MOQ or specific structure to it. Address listing.
Buyer fit: Send a drawing and ask for current board, converting and printing options with a physical sample. This is the practical way to establish whether the plant can make a particular die-cut carton rather than assuming capability from a general “custom packaging” claim.
5. House of Packaging
Location: Kizhakkambalam, Aluva. Its company page lists RSC and punched cartons, ecommerce boxes, export boxes, printed boxes, rolls and boards, and B, C and E flute options. The site describes an 80-ton production capacity in a single-shift context; the earlier article called this “per month,” which the source does not support. We therefore do not use that figure as a monthly capacity or rank it by size.
Buyer fit: Compare for standard shipping cartons and larger industrial formats. Specify product weight, packed dimensions, stacking duration, humidity exposure and handling route. Choose the board after testing the complete packed box under relevant conditions; flute letter alone cannot establish compression strength or moisture resistance.
6. Flextrus Corrugated Packaging Boxes India Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Kolenchery, Ernakulam. Flextrus lists three-, five- and seven-ply cartons, corrugated sheets, punched boxes, liners, pads, partitions, dividers and paper bags. Its site also describes unprinted and multicolour printed or laminated options, and reports equipment for orders up to 60 tonnes a month. Source: Flextrus.
Buyer fit: Its published range makes it a candidate when an outer carton and internal dividers need to be designed together. Give the supplier the product layout and fragility data, then check partition fit in a packed sample. Confirm a current quotation and production slot separately from the stated plant capacity.
7. Nalini Pack
Location: Kollam. Nalini Pack lists plain and printed corrugated paper boxes, including brown kraft and duplex variants. Its site gives 1990 as its establishment year and describes manufacturing and export supply. Source: Nalini Pack.
Buyer fit: Useful for buyers comparing a plain transit carton with a printed version from a Kollam supplier. Ask for the same internal dimensions and a representative board sample in both quotes so print and material changes can be compared fairly.
8. Green Cartons Industries
Location: Kodungallur, Thrissur. A Quickerala directory listing describes corrugated, shipping, printed, die-cut and telescopic cartons. We did not find a current company-controlled website to independently confirm the full range or factory capacity.
Buyer fit: A local lead for a varied carton brief, subject to direct verification. Ask for current registration, production address, sample photographs and a written specification; do not infer export compliance or material grade from the directory’s sales description.
9. Legend Pax
Location: Puthenchira, Thrissur. Its Quickerala entry says it makes three- and five-ply cartons. We found no current manufacturer-controlled product catalogue, so current operations, range and lead time require direct confirmation.
Buyer fit: A possible local contact for a straightforward corrugated carton. Request a sample and written quote specifying board components and dimensions. Three or five plies are descriptions of construction, not a substitute for testing the packed box.
10. M.M. Containers Pvt. Ltd. (MM Packs)
Kerala production locations: The company’s website identifies Packard Industries in Kottayam and Safepac Industries in Ernakulam as group units, as well as a Coimbatore unit outside Kerala. It says the business began in Kochi in 1972. Its product page lists custom corrugated boxes, pads, sheets, rolls, printing, structural design and prototypes.
Buyer fit: A candidate for projects that need structural development and repeat production. Ask which named Kerala unit will make the exact product, where proofing occurs and which dispatch terms apply; a group-level catalogue does not mean every unit has identical equipment.
How to compare quotes for the same carton
Ask every shortlisted manufacturer to quote the same scope. Otherwise a low unit price may reflect a different board grade, simpler print or a delivery term that excludes freight. The initial brief should include:
- Product and packed weight: item dimensions, weight, fragility, number of units per carton and any dividers or cushioning.
- Carton dimensions and structure: internal length × width × height, RSC or die-cut/mailers, and whether the carton will be palletized or handled individually.
- Material and performance: requested ply/flute and liner specification if known, plus the transit, stacking and storage conditions that determine the appropriate board. Ask for agreed test methods and acceptance criteria where performance matters.
- Artwork and order: print colours, coverage, finish, dieline, annual and first-order quantities, sample approval process, delivery city and required date.

What should I check before paying for a custom die?
